♡ Non Non Biyori ♡
NON NON BIYORI ♡ のんのんびより ♡
After just completing the seventh episode, I wanted to do a review on an anime I have been watching that I think many of you would find really cute and calming. It falls into the slice of life category, and I find myself enjoying it more with each new episode.
The story...
"Elementary school student Hotaru Ichijou has moved with her parents from Tokyo to the middle of the country. Now she must adapt to her new school, where there are a total of 5 students in the same class who range through elementary and middle school ages. Join their everyday adventures in the countryside. "
The country feel to it is relaxing, and the story has a lovely flow to it. I enjoy the interactions between all of the characters as well as how different they all are from each other. The artwork is truly beautiful and I find I enjoy that more than anything. The clouds look so pretty and it has me longing to be there in the country with them. I also love the sounds in this anime. Very peaceful and quaint. The characters voices also match well. Overall-worth giving it a watch. One of my favorites of this fall season anime releases.

♡ Crystal Healing ♡
♡ Crystal Healing ♡
Basic: Crystal's and gems come from the Earth by pressure over many years. Each type formed under different circumstances and places in the world. Early on, people could sense some energy from these gems. Now, scientist know each crystal relates a certain vibration but all on a similar level. This is how people are also, we all are a different vibration-slightly different from one another. The foundation of this is what allows us to use crystals as a form of mental cleansing and healing. Chakras are the parts most common for us to focus on healing. There are seven of them, and each has a color (some two) that represents the place of healing. The colors of the Chakras relate to the colors of crystals and gems that we use to heal these areas. The vibrations of these crystals are special, as each gem has one different from another. These vibrations relate to the vibrations given off by certain places on a human body. We use crystals to help our vibrations get back to normal. When we get them to the frequency that we should be, we feel balanced and should move on to focus on other areas we need to re-align again. These are ever changing, which is why meditation daily is recommended. As well as re-charging and cleansing your crystals which I will later explain.

What to do: What I tend to do is pick up the crystal for the Chakra I need to work on. I hold it in my hands and concentrate on what could be better. Think about all of the problems centered on this Chakra, these images will start to swim through my head. It may make you feel overwhelmed and anxious, so take a few deep breathes. Holding the crystal, think out solutions in your mind to these problems-examples you can do to get your balance back. Look at the crystal's color- and think of all positive things that come to your mind regarding the color. Does it make you feel peaceful, happy, inspired? Close your eyes, and pick one word (or a few) that are positive about this Chakra. For example, if focusing on your Heart-Chakra some words I would use are "Understanding, Romantic, Compassion" and I would contemplate those over the next few minutes while taking deep breathes. Sometimes, lighting a candle with a color coordinating to the Chakra you are working on helps you to focus also. I have even heard people changing lightbulbs in a lamp so they are surrounded by this color helping as well as any herbs or oils with a scent that identifies with that color. Whatever you wish to do to be embraced by this color-or simply using the crystal is perfectly fine also. I mostly prefer to take time and focus on one specific Chakra at a time, but feel free to do as many as you see fit. I would not recommend more than three as it takes away from really concentrating on what needs to heal. After doing this with one crystal, I would move on to the next one I wish to work with. Again, I usually work with one -maybe two a day. Some people carry around the crystal they need to focus on-pockets, purses, whatever you feel most comfortable with. Whenever working with crystals-do what feels right to YOU. What I do or anyone else does might not suit you-so just go with what you think would be most right in helping to heal you.
Cleaning and Charging: When you receive a crystal from another person, it is really important that you cleanse the gem before using it. As you do not know what energy the person who gave it to you had-even if it is someone you know! To cleanse your crystals, there are many ways. Some people take rain water and run their crystals through it-while thinking about the positive properties of the crystal. Other's prefer to take it in the bath while focusing or running the crystal through smoke of a candle of the crystal's color. White in color works to clean anything! I personally take mine in the bath. Again-whatever feels right to you! I usually will clean mine whenever it feels right to. Sometimes it can be a few days or a few months. You have to decide for yourself!
WARNING: LOOK AT YOUR CRYSTAL OR GEM'S PROPERTIES BEFORE TAKING IT INTO ANY LIQUID BECAUSE IT CAN FADE OR HARM YOUR STONE!!
If you start to feel like your crystals are not working for you, and just are dull when meditating -it is time to re-charge your crystal as it was working to align the vibrations. As was with cleaning, charging your crystals has many methods. I usually use a crystal cluster or leave mine in the window at night for the moonlight. You can purchase a cluster of crystals (as shown on right-most recommended are amethyst and quartz) to charge yours. This is where you place your crystal onto the cluster for a period of time (it really depends on how dull you believe your crystal is and how much you have been working with it). Another popular method is to leave it in the sun or moon light. Whatever makes you have more positive thoughts and happiness.
There are a few other methods that are believed to work for both cleaning and charging. You can feel free to do research on these methods and try them out to see what helps you best! Every crystal healer is different and remember that not everything will work for you. You have to see what you feel most comfortable and happy about using.
